LG Polls: Kogi SIEC Expresses Satisfaction With Conduct

The Chairman of the Kogi State Independent National Electoral Commission (KOSIEC), Mr Mamman Nda Eri, has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the local government elections, held on Saturday.

Eri, who spoke with reporters in Lokoja at the end of the election, described the exercise as peaceful and successful.

He lauded voters for their peaceful conduct at polling booths but observed that the turnout was low.

Eri also said that the election took place in all the 2, 548 polling units in 239 wards across the 21 local government councils in the state without any itches.
