A member in Kogi State House of Assembly, Honourable Gowon Paul Haruna has donated his June and July salaries to two wards in Dekina/Biraidu Constituency in Kogi state.
Honourable Haruna who donated June salary to Ogbabede ward also donated July salary to Ogenenigu ward.
He promised to continue on this gesture throughout his four years, noting that he had come to fulfil the campaign promises he made before the election.
Honourable Haruna said that the salaries he donated to the two wards should be channeled towards constituency development.
He promised the people that he would not seek for re-election in 2015, stressing that he was fully prepared to support any candidate vying for any political office from the ward.
He warned that the money was meant for development of their wards and not for party executives or any group of people.
