Zacch Promises Rapid Transformation of Lokoja-Kogi Constituency

A founder of African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kogi state, Zacch Jonathan who is eyeing the House of Representatives slot for Lokoja-Kogi federal constituency, has promised the people of the area quality and improved representation if elected into the National Assembly.

Speaking with newsmen recently, Zacch Jonathan said he decided to vie for the legislative position because of his desire to ensure that developmental problems of his constituency are addressed.

“I want to state with all emphasis that I am in politics for service. I want to represent my people because I know they deserve a better representation at the federal level. And I am optimistic that we will take Idea to federal constituency to greater heights,” he said.

He pointed out that he had acquired more experience and is more prepared to serve the good people of Lokoja /Koto Constituency in his capacity as their servant, stressing further that, if the people give him their votes it would be easy for him to deal with issues at hand.

The House of Representative hopeful said that he was too much in haste to see rapid transformation of the entire communities in Lokoja  and Kogi local government areas.

Zacch Jonathan noted that he would use his influence and connections to attract development to the communities.

“I am a grass roots person, I know most of the problems confronting my people and this prompted me to come and contest for the Federal Legislature position. If my people give me their mandate in this 2019 forth coming elections, part of those things that will be my focus is the development of Infrastructures, our Women and Youths.

“The two local governments in my constituency are agrarian, you know, food is a major weapon to fight poverty. I will make sure that these local governments become the food basket of the Nation.”

He promised to use the necessary incentives available to improve farming in the Constituency by assisting the farmers and attracting macro and micro credit facilities that would promote farming business.

“I am in haste to see rapid transformation in this local government, I will use my connection to attract attention and bring people that matters to this Constituency to contribute to its development and within the period  of my tenure, I will enhance tremendous changes,” he said.
