Kogi State chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hassan Salau, has said no opposition exists to compete with the PDP in the state.
Salau stated this while addressing party supporters at Oguma, the headquarters of Bassa Local Government of the state during Governor Idris Wada’s ‘Thank-You-Tour’ to the local government.
He said the opposition in the state is currently in disarray, stressing the need for the members of PDP to continue to work collectively and remain supportive of the current administration.
Salau said there is no vacancy in Lugard House and advised those eyeing the governorship seat ahead of the next election to have a re-think.
Governor Wada commended the people for their loyalty to his administration assuring that no stone would be left unturned in taking the state to another level of development.
