Kogi born artist, fast rising singer and song writer, Abdullahi Yahaya, popularly known as Young Tizee, has unveiled the highly-anticipated logo for his music record label, ‘Money Matter Gang’ (MMG).
Speaking during the unveiling in Zaria, Kaduna State at the weekend, Young Tizee described the event as a dream come true.
“Nigeria’s music industry which is one of the fastest-growing industries in the country has blossomed over the years, in size and in quality with the contributions of many record labels. These record labels have helped grow existing artistes and discovered new talents in the industry.
“Even though the industry is flooded with a million and one record labels, there are some handful of good and well-structured record labels that have produced some of the biggest and popular artistes in the country, and I want mine to part of them because, I have what it takes to be there.
“I have been longing for this wonderful opportunity to come ,but with the help of Almighty God, friends and associates, MMG record label has come stay, so I don’t have much to say today, than to give glory to whom deserves the glory,” he said.
Continuing, he said “when look at the likes of Nigerian music legends, the life of 2face Idibia, Wizkid, Tekno etc, what keep them in the industry is persistent, endurance and hard work. When you take time to read their stories, it would inspired you to give out what you have inside you.
“One of the reasons some of us and others are not doing well in the music industry is because they give up easily about the struggle of this life. If you are not born into the healthy and wealthy family there are lots of challenges ahead of you and how can you beat this is by praying and hard working.
“When you do something out of passion, you derive joy and happiness from it, but in a situation where you do no have passion for that particular thing, no matter how hard you try to do it you cannot do it that is why you see people today doing what they don’t like and even though they tried they end up in the middle of oceans because of what people might say about them. But if you thinking about what people would say about you, you will live not to achieve your aims before you die.
“I am not making money from music yet, but just like I said earlier, I am an upcoming artist whose have a lot to offer the society. I choose Money Matter Gang because anything you are doing today involved money and money has denied me of many things, but is not everything about our lives we should lay our lips on.”
