APC Leaders From Yagba Condoles With Senator Smart Adeyemi

Senator Smart Adeyemi has been urged to take solace in God and bear the loss of his wife, Yemisi Adeyemi in good faith.
The admonition was given to Senator Smart when appointees of Kogi State government, aspirants and leaders of All Progressives Congress (APC) from Yagba Federal constituency paid him a condolence visit in his Maitama, Abuja residence on Saturday.
Hon. Bolanle Amupitan, in her opening remark, said Yagba people have come to mourn with their former Senator over the death of his wife.
“Death is the end of all mortals. The holy books enjoins us to mourn with those who are mourning. The leaders of APC in Yagba land have come to share this difficult moment with you,” she said.
Henry Tuesday Abimbola, the leading House of Representatives aspirant under APC prayed to God to give the Senator Smart the fortitude to bear the loss of his wife.
“It is painful to lose a loved one, a confidant a strong woman like Mrs Adeyemi. As a strong man, Senator Smart Adeyemi must find the strength to move on.”
While responding, Senator Smart Adeyemi appreciated the people for standing with him at this difficult moment. He described his late wife as the best gift from God to him.
He said he was consoled by the fact that his wife knew God and was close to God while she lived.
Senator Smart stated that he sees Yagba people as his brothers and sisters and has maintained close relationship with the zone.
“I have never seen myself as more Ijumu than Yagba. I am at home in every nooks and crannies of Kogi West, I love them all.”
He advised people to jettison politics of sectional and tribal dichotomies for politics of development.
The APC chairmen of the three local government areas of Yagba federal constituency; Hon. Charles Omoyele, Hon Kehinde Atte and Hon Major David were among leaders on the condolence visit.
Others are Chief Olubunmi Ajiboye, Hon Bolanle Amupitan, Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development; Hon. M. D. Eseyin, the Special Adviser to Kogi Governor on Youth, Sports and Students Affairs and other appointees of Yagba extraction.
