The burial rite of the Olu Adde of EKINRIN-ADDE, HRH Oba Solomon I. Hambolu, Loke Mekankan 1, is scheduled for this weekend.
A statement signed by Secretary to the burial Publicity Committee, Pastor Stanley Ajileye said that the week-long burial programme will climax in a wake-keep on Friday, April, 24 and funeral services on Saturday April 25, at the EKINRIN-ADDE Palace and the EKINRIN-ADDE Ultra Modern Town Hall in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State respectively .
Oba Hambolu ascended the throne in 2002, died last December.
He was a Permanent Secretary at the presidency before he retired to be corrugated.
Oba Hambolu took up appointment with Ministry of Trade, rose to become Head of Administration at DFRRI, Director Finanace and Supply at National Boundary Commission, Director PRS & later DPM Office of SGF, Director PM Ministry of Defence where he was Ag. Perm Sec before he retired to become Olu Adde in 2002.
He was also the Olujumu Regent before he passed On in Dec 2014.
