The Kogi Economic team that visited China on an economic mission took out time to visit the Shenzhen Police Headquarters to see first hand computerized surveillance technology deployed Huawei Technology to combat crime.
The leader of the team, Hon Idris Asiru, confirmed the visit to newsmen.
“We went to the station to inspect the equipment to see how such can be deployed to Kogi State to combat crime so that foreign and local investors can be comfortable to come into kogi state, knowing fully well that their investment is secure “, he said.
The state’s delegation visited the reference site at Shenzhen Central Police Station, which controls 25 police stations with city surveillance solutions.
Asiru stated that Kogi state is embarking on real transformation of the entire state with robust information and communication technology, ICT, infrastructures and solutions.
