The Kogi State Governor, Capt Idris Wada has congratulated the Kogi State Chief Judge, Justice Nasiru Ajanah, who was today honored with the title of the Commander of the Order of the Niger title conferred on him by President Goodluck Jonathan, describing the conferment as well deserved.
Capt Wada who spoke at a reception held in honour of Justice Ajanah, shortly after the conferment in Abuja, praised the Judicial Prowess of Justice Ajanah, which he noted has singled him out for the honour. Capt Wada described Justice Ajanah as a studious and fearless Judicial officer who has made his mark, commended him for interpreting the law in line with best ethos and practices.
Capt Wada said the honour done Justice Ajanah is not only a pride to Kogi State, but to the Judiciary, urged Justice Ajanah, to see the honour as a request for greater service.
The Governor who was represented by his Deputy,Yomi Awoniyi, added that Justice Ajanah is a perfectionist, described the honour as heart warming for the state chief Judge to be recognized and elevated by the nation.
While noting that the honour is another feather to the cap of the Chief Justice of the state, the Governor prayed God to grant him good health, wisdom and ability to continue in immeasurable service to his father land.
In their separate goodwill messages, the Ohinoyi of Ebira land, HRM, Ado Ibrahim, Alex Iziyon, SAN, Chief Bayo Ojo, Justice Zakari Idakwoji, Justice Henry Olusule, Prince Olushola Akanmode, Representative of the National and State NBA, all congratulated Justice Ajanah, eulogized his sterling qualities and described him as a jurist of no mean reputation.
Responding, Justice Nasiru Ajanah, thanked God Almighty for the honour done him, assured that the gesture will spur him in selfless service to the Nation in general.
The Chief Judge urged those in the Judiciary to be steadfast in the discharge of their duties assuring that there is always a reward for hard work.
