Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, since your assumption of duty as the governor of Kogi state, more pensioners and civil servants have died.

So far, His Excellency has demonstrated that he is uncaring.

Within the last week that passed, over ten civil servants have died while more than that number have died among pensioners. This is because they can no longer feed themselves and buy drugs. Against all appeals that the governor should approve salary and pensions payment while the screening is ongoing he has remained adamant.

As I write, only Local Government staff are being screened. State workforce have not commenced, apart from Kogi Poly.

Also, Yahaya Bello is bent on forcing alot of currently employed youths back to the street and that is why he is insisting that those employed in 2015 should not be screened.

Why must anyone on the payroll legitimately be stopped?

Whoever is legitimately on the payroll of Kogi state should be screened!

Governor Bello paid October 2015 salary only and he is screaming while his predecessor, Capt. Idris Wada paid same for four years.

APC candidates are only interested in grasping power by whichever means but not interested in fulfilling electoral promises. The deception of APC is so glaring under Yahaya Bello because before the screening he has already labelled some workers ‘Ghost’.

Haba Young Man! If you complain of lack of money, why should the destruction of roundabouts be your priority? While they were there, you can modernize the state capital.

You have refused to settle down to give us a clear road-map of your administration which will soon be terminated by the grace of God. It is like you have forgotten that it is the taxpayers money that was used to construct the roundabouts you destroyed indiscriminately when you can’t pay workers their entitlements.

I heard you alleged that Wada increased the salaries just before your coming. I cannot fathom how a young man like you and an accountant for that matter should think a governor could inflate the salary figures easily. Why not pick the wage bill for June 2015. And to be candid until the last minute Gov Wada didn’t believe you had the chance of taking over from him. Your arrogant and wicked display of power will not last by the grace of God.

Governor Bello, you should not justify your unguided actions by insisting that certain categories of people should not be screened. Are those people not entitled to be employed?  As I write, two civil servants are critically ill in Secretariat Housing Estate, Lokoja and this is the situation all over the state.

The governor  said he was going to pay local government workers 100% but many could not get up to 40%. Is Wada not justified??

Please, can somebody help me find out why he is bent on correcting the local government pay while state workers are not paid?
