Halima Wada Mourns Late PDP Women Leader

The Wife of the State Governor Hajia Halima Wada has described the death of the Kogi State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) woman leader, Hajia Zubeida Ismail Isah as a loss to the state and the party as a whole.

The wife of the State Governor, Hajia Halimat Wada, made the remarks in a message to the third – day Fidau prayer of the late woman leader in Okene. The governor’s wife was represented by the wife of the deputy governor, Mrs Tokunbo Awoniyi.

Hajia Halimat noted that the PDP woman leader during her life time brought unity and worked hard to move the party forward.
She described her as a patriotic, loyal, focused and hard-working politician who contributed greatly to achieve the success of the party at all time.

The wife of the governor maintained that Hajia Zubeida would be missed by the party especially those who came across her, said she will be missed for her sense of humor and commitment to the party.

She said her contributions made to women at both state and the local government level would be remembered.

While noting that the party would greatly miss the late woman leader in the role she played in making peace across party divide, prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

In his remarks, the husband of the deceased, Ismail Isah said he has missed a great woman because of the motherly role his late wife played in the family.

In a sermon, an Islamic scholar, chief Iman of Ebira land, Alhaji Musa Galadima urged women and political office holders to always remember Allah in their daily activities, saying death is a lesson to the living and prayed Allah to grant late Zubaida eternal rest.
