A socio-political group, Concerned Kogites, have declared their total support for the Governor Yahaya Bello-led administration.
The spokesperson of the group, Comrade Aliyu Mahmud Amoto, while speaking at their monthly meeting in Lokoja the state capital pledged the group’s unalloyed support for the new direction government under Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and applauded various laudable achievements in all sectors by the APC led administration within the shortest time of assumption of office.
However, Amoto appealed to the state government to see to the plight of genuine uncleared state civil servants whose complaints are yet to be attended to. He said he understand the deep rot in kogi state civil service and the effort being made so far to cleanse the state government payroll of ghost workers but he urged the state government to attend to the complaints of uncleared genuine workers who were not paid during the payment of salaries as a result of incidents such as wrong BVN number, wrong bank account number and wrong name spelling so they can be among the receivers of this second salary payment after missing the first round of payments.
