It has come to my notice about police unlawful, inhumane and mass arrest of innocent citizens and residence of Ebira town. This I learnt was actually due to the robbery that claimed lives of two policemen in Okene region. This menace was actually by some psychopath and criminals that have been terrorising the metropolis.

I want the security agencies should note that these incidences can actually be waded, avoided and controlled all hands being on deck.

Hereby; I urge the police and the security outfits to put in more passion in carrying out their lawful duties and as well carry out proper investigation and bring the culprits to book as no one is above the law of the country and the molesting of innocent citizens is what we must address here.

It pains my heart and cause me sleepless nights knowing that citizens who have been going about their daily hustle and struggles to put food on their tables and attend to their family needs at this very depleted economic state of our country will end up behind bars for crimes they know nothing about and will end up coughing out large sums of money to bail themselves out.

I want to assure the people of Ebira land and Kogites at large that there is no cause for alarm as we are working hard to address this issue of unwarranted arrest and insecurity that’s is making them live in fear.
