People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi central will experience a new phase as the young generation is seeing a ray of hope’. This was made in a statement delivered by the Adavi local government coordinator, Aliyu Abubakar Adeiza. He further stressed the need for political office holders to allow full youth participation in their governance, as this is no longer the era politicians see youths as only a weapon of thuggery.
The maiden meeting had in attendance all its 22 Executive Council Members which was held at the Ebira Community Secondary School Ogaminana Auditorium, on 14th September. The Legal Adviser, Mallam Salihu Abdullahi enjoined all the members to be steadfast and work as a body devoid of divided interest as that is the only way the group can achieve its goal.
Other executives of the group made their various remarks on the relevance of The PDP National Youth Frontiers group and what the youths stand to prove and benefit with the platform.
To round the meeting up, the group’s Director of Protocol, Mr James Itopa made it known to members that PDP National Youth Frontiers is not a group for hypocrites as it will put up disciplinary measures against any of its member found wanting.
