Dear Okura Constituency Youths
I write to you today in reckoning of your status as a remarkable stakeholder in Okura Constituency and with the believe that we share the same vision of placing our Constituency on a pedestrian of reckoning.
Our reflection on the level of development compare to the possibilities, opportunities and resources available to us clearly reveal that we are yet to strike the right chord in our quest to provide an enabling environment to have the requisite paradigm shift that would guarantee a quantum leap for our people. Okura Constituency current position is not enviable among others. This situation is further compounded by the prevailing state of joblessness despite the effort of the current administration led by his Excellency Captain Idris Ichalla Wada which calls for our collective action.
For Okura Constituency to move forward successfully, we must put together our human, intellectual, political and financial resources to do something positively different. This thoroughly calls for us to do a new thing using a new forum and adopting a new approach.
This largely necessitated the formation of ‘Change Okura’ initiative as my concept of reflection in all I do and all I say.
Our mission is to return the Governance and destiny of Okura through God by harnessing all available resources towards the actualization of a democratically elected government that will guarantee adequate security of lives and property, achieve extensive infrastructural development, ensure the socio-economic empowerment, peace and unity of all Okura indigens.
I therefore implore you to rise and be counted by ensuring that we contribute in place a leadership that is proactive, responsible, sincere and committed to the business of pointing the torch for our people to see the light out of the dark alley of desolation and despair. We must rise up to hoist a new order that hold hope: the hope for a better future that will wipe out years of deprivation and social disadvantage.
Based on my clear understanding of operating environment and consultations across board, I have in all modesty decided to offer to us Hassan Baiwa Abdullahi as the arrow-head for this multi-faced war.
As a true son of Okura Constituency, a committed family man, a grass root organiser, a strong party faithful and loyalist, a successful business man, a devoid muslim with extensive private sector there should be no doubt about my commitment to see Okura through these challenging time and this much needed campaign for its renaissance.
I therefore count on the assurance of antecedents and disposition which are consistent with the new drive to recreate Okura constituency, I’m asking you to give him (Hassan Baiwa Abdullahi) your support and blessing in the next House of Assembly election to provide the missing link in the leadership of our dear constituency.
